A 12 week program is designed to help you on your journey to a healthier lifestyle. We will meet weekly for a group workout, beginning and ending in body scans to track your progress along with healthy eating presentations at Roots Nutrition Counseling. A weekly, easy to follow workout program will also be included as well as a t-shirt and access to the private Healthy Habits Facebook group. Sign up today and start your healthy habit here!
Weekly workout and group class. Every Thursday 6:30pm – 7:30pm a group workout will be offered with time to go over the next week’s plan and tips on how to stay on track!
Healthy Diet Presentations at Roots. Presentations on how to start eating healthy and sustainable from Jenn Pope, the certified dietician at Roots Nutrition Counseling.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BODY SCULPT
Free weights, resistance bands and body movement provide a full body workout. Great group workout
BOOT CAMP
Overall cardio, muscular strength, and endurance is improved with the use of weights, jump ropes, running, timers and other forms of circuit training.
CIRCUIT CYCLING
Circuits of cycling at varying speeds & resistance levels along with using light weights on the bike and heavier weights off the bike. Outside, weather permitting.
CORE BUILDERS
Focusing on strengthening your core, increasing overall muscle strength, balance and posture.
CYCLING
Mix up your cycling routine with this low impact/high intensity workout, great for any fitness level.
CYCLEFIT
A full hour of upbeat cycling fun with some weights on the bike for a full body workout with cardio.
ESSENTIAL MOVEMENTS
Warm up essential muscle groups to help advance to future classes. Focusing on balance work, stability and stretching/flexibility.
HATHA YOGA
Hatha Yoga includes most yoga styles. Specific asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), help bring peace to the mind and body.

HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING
A type of workout that consists of short periods of intense exercise that gets your heart rate up quickly between intervals of less intense exercise or rest.
INTERVAL CYCLING
Fast-paced cycling class that consists of timed intervals of basic cycling maneuvers.
KETTLEBELL
Total body workout building muscle strength and cardiovascular conditioning.
LEARN TO LIFT
Taught by our personal trainer you will learn all the exercises and lifts that work each muscle group.
LIFT IT
Total body lifting, focuses on all main muscle groups while incorporating secondary muscles throughout,
LINE DANCING
Choreographed dance in which a group of people dance along to a repeating sequence of steps while arranged in one or more lines or rows,
LOW AND SLOW YOGA
Come enjoy this class with classic Yoga flows, series of poses, and meditation. Great for all ages and activity levels.

MOBILITY LEVEL 1
MOBILITY LEVEL 2 (ADVANCED)
All about flexibility, core strength and increasing range of motion. You will work with foam rolling, stretching and stability balls all to help decrease muscle tension, reduce risk of injury, boost blood circulation and recover faster in between workouts,
PILATES
Full body workout that creates long, lean muscles. Achieves results by using gravity, your body’s own
resistance, small balls or weights.
SAMPLER STYLE
This class is filled with an intro to a different variety or workout styles, from body weight, Pilates, Yoga, circuit training and balance.
TaeKwonDo

TAI CHI
Ancient form of Chinese exercise used relaxed movements to develop a sense of balance and harmony between mind and body.
TOTAL STRETCH
Get the most out of your workouts by stretching and lengthening muscles in static holds.
YOUTH KICKBOXING
For ages 10-14, Co-ed. Learn the basics of punches, kicks, blocks and counters.
ZUMBA
Fun and high energy interval dance workout class. Involves choregraphed Latin-inspired movements to upbeat music.
