About YMCA Summer Camp

❱ Our camp provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can have fun, make new friends, and explore new activities. Campers will create art projects, play games, go on adventures, and build memories that last a lifetime.
❱ Within our building, children will participate in: STEAM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) • Swimming • Group games • Sports • Special activities and themed days
❱ We also take field trips to surrounding areas to give campers variety and adventure. Some favorite trips include Roller City, Lime Creek, and The Spam Museum.
❱ At the YMCA, our number one priority is the safety of the children. When everyone is safe, the fun can begin!
❱ Our favorite camp saying: Be Safe • Be Kind • Have Fun

Registration Changes

❱ Due to limited availability, you must cancel or change registrations at least one week in advance.
❱ Failure to notify the YMCA at least one week in advance will result in a $80 no-show fee per week.
❱ Example: If your camper is registered for a week beginning Monday the 16th, any changes must be confirmed via email by 5:00 PM the Monday before (the 9th).

Field Trips for ALL Campers

❱ Whether you register Full-Time or Part-Time, your child can attend field trips.
❱ Once the field trip schedule is finalized, families may adjust attendance days if needed so their child can attend the trip.
❱ Example: Jay normally attends Wednesday–Friday, but his group has a Monday field trip to Lime Creek. His parents can email to change that week’s attendance to Monday, Thursday, Friday.
❱ Most field trips will be planned by May 5, and all trips will be finalized by the first day of camp.
❱ Important: On field trip days, campers will need to bring a sack lunch from home and wear the 2026 Summer Camp shirt. The school district lunch will not be provided on those days.
