SUMMER CAMP 2025 REGISTRATION IS NOW WAITLIST ONLY.

Please register for the grade your child WILL BE GOING INTO for the 2025/2026 school year.
The following ages are FULL: Kindergarten, Second Grade, Fifth/Sixth Grade

ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL BE WAITLIST.

Open to all school districts! Camp is held at the Mason City YMCA 1840 S. Monroe Ave, Mason City.

Camp Dates: Thursday, June 5 – Friday, August 15. No Camp Thursday, July 3 & Friday, July 4.
Ages: 5-12 Children must be potty trained.
Camp Hours: 6:45am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday

$60 registration fee Water Bottle & Lock Included

Full-time (4-5 days/week) $155/week
Part-time (2-3 days/week) $100/week
At this time, you will not be able to add additional days if you register for the Part Time attendance plan.

Lunch & snack provided by Mason City Community School District.

Our camp provides a safe and nurturing environment where children have fun, make new friends, and explore new activities! Children will create art projects, go on adventures, and build memories of a lifetime. As a parent, you can feel reassured your child is in a safe place during the day and will come home exhausted from fun!

Within our building children will be engaged in STEAM (A is for art) programming, swimming, group games, sports and much more. We take field trips, primarily to surrounding areas, to give our campers variety and adventure. Some of the favorite field trips include: Roller City, Blank Park Zoo, Science Center of Iowa and Trampoline Parks.

At the YMCA our number one priority is the safety of the children. When everybody is safe a lot of fun can be had. One of our favorite sayings for all our youth development programs is be safe, be kind, have fun!

Registration changes: Due to limited availability, you must unregister at least one week in advance. Failure to notify the YMCA of registration changes at least one week in advance will result in a $50 no show fee per week. Please notify the YMCA as soon as possible about registration changes. (Example: Your camper is registered for a session beginning Monday, the 16th. Any changes must be confirmed via email confirmation by 5:00pm on Monday, the 9th.

Field Trips for ALL!
Whether you register for Full Time or Part Time, your child can attend field trips. Out of town field trips will be scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays.

Once the field trip schedule is finalized you will be able to change the selected days of attendance, if needed, in order to attend a field trip. (Example: Jay’s usual days of attendance are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Jay’s Green group is scheduled for a Lime Creek field trip on a Monday. Jay’s parents would send an email stating “For week 2 Jay will attend Monday, Thursday and Friday”)

Most field trips will be planned by May 5. All trips will be planned by the first day of camp.
