The Y’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. As a non-profit, we rely on our volunteers and member’s generosity. You help us to do more for our community and members. MISSION MEMBERSHIP A volunteer in the community who designates time serving at the Mason City Family YMCA receives a mission membership as no cost. Mission membership volunteers will be asked to complete an average of 15 hours/month or 180 hours/year. You can accomplish these hours by assisting on the fitness floor, coaching, helping in the office or being in Kid Zone and much more.
